I don’t think I am gonna make it until midnight!! LOL I am getting old!
Hope you all have a great night!

I started a blog just for my weight loss posts. I was tired of having them here, and wanted a seperate place for all that stuff! So, if you want to stop by and see my progress, go ahead!!

2007 is almost over. WOW!! This year seemed to fly by.
The years seem to do that, the older we get, don’t they?? Sad.
I really enjoyed this year.
I enjoyed watching Alex learn to crawl, get his first teeth, learn to walk, say his first words, and so on, and so on! He amazes me each day! I enjoy staying at home full time, and do NOT miss going to work, even for 10 hours a week! I love taking care of my husband and taking care of my home (well, I hate laundry, dishes and cleaning, but it is my job and I do love it…deep down in there somewhere!)
I am excited to see what 2008 brings. We have plans to pay off debts, buy a new car (or used!
), and *maybe* try to add to our family! MAYBE!
It should be interesting to see what happens this year, and see if it plays out as we want it to! I doubt it will 100%, but that is the fun part of life. Seeing what God has planned and his plans taking shape! I pray that you have all had a blessed 2007 and that 2008 brings more to your life than you even imagined!!!
Oh, and check out my 100 things I want to do this year at the top of the blog!! Some of them got kinda lame LOL, but I was tired when I did it!! Ha!! I don’t have much for expectations, eh?
Notice the get rid of cat one…I sure HOPE that one comes true!! LOL
Ta Ta for now!

I just wanted to wish all my faithful readers a Merry Christmas!!!!
I hope that in the midst of all the presents and cookies and commotion that goes on with the holiday, you have time to reflect on the real reason that we celebrate!! The best gift of all is the gift that the Lord gives us. The gift of eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
I pray that you each can draw closer to God in the new year. Set Him first on your priority list and everything will fall into place. The Lord has blessed us SO much this year. I know that I personally can grow more in the Lord, and just can’t wait to see what he has in store for us in 2008! Be blessed and Merry Christmas!!
Love, Amber

Well, I lost .2 lbs! LOL I was 187 and got down to 186.8! Another HUGE loss! HAHA!! Only .8 away from my 20 lb goal for this year!!! I am so excited. I have been good at going to the gym, even with Franz working odd shifts!!
I have been *trying* to be better with food. I can’t wait until Christmas is over, so I can not worry about all those goodies anymore!!!
I think I am doing pretty well though! Next year, I hope these pounds fall off a LOT faster than they have this year!!!
Well, next time I post for weigh in day, it will be after Christmas, so I will take this opportunity to tell you all that read this: Merry Christmas! May God bless you this holiday season, and in the coming new year!!! Bring on 2008!!!!

I discovered this website the other day, and am loving it! They have all sorts of freebies and great deals going on there! I just did this one!!
Free Auto Inverter
Check out their page and start getting some free stuff!!!!

Finale is on tonight!
I am so excited!
I want Bill to win, but really, it doesn’t matter, cuz they all did great! I am so excited to see them tonight. I love that show. They are starting couples biggest loser next year. That will rock too!
Gotta jet!! Time to plop in front of the TV for the night! LOL (Been a rough day!)

After next week of course! LOL
I have decided that I want to be at my goal weight before Alex’s 2nd birthday. I wanted to be there before his 1st birthday, but I was totally lazy before then. I would love to lose 40 more lbs or so, and if I actually focus on it, I can do it. I know I can…especially in 6 months!! That would be just 6 lbs. a month. Of course, if I did more than that, I could get it done faster! LOL
So, once this whole Christmas time is over, I am back in gear!! I need to really focus on what I eat and what i do at the gym. I know that it disturbs me when there are a lot of people there when I work out, but I think that will be part of life for about a month after the new year, ya know!
But, I want to be working out there at LEAST 5 days a week and then do some stuff at home as well! I also need to get my eating under better control.
So, anyway…your job is to keep me accountable and to tell me to drop the cookies!!
If you are looking to lose weight and want to join me, I will be a place of encouragement for you if you need it!!!

Wow, I have been slacking on my Thursday recipes now haven’t I? Oh, what am I saying??? I have been slacking at blogging period!!!
Well, I haven’t a new recipe to share that I have tried recently, but I am going to try this one over the weekend!!! It just caught my eye and I had to make it!! I will share it now and then give you the results later on!!
Candy Crunch Pudding Pie
Ingredients:
2 cups cold milk
2 pkg Chocolate flavor instant pudding (the 4 serving size)
1 8 oz. tub cool whip, thawed, divided
2 Heath bars (1.4 oz) (chopped, divided)
1 6 oz oreo pie crust
1 (1 oz) square baker’s semi sweet baking choc melted
Directions:
1. Beat milk and dry pudding mixes with whisk for 2 minutes or until well blended. Gently stir half of the whipped topping and all but 3 Tbsp of the candy.
2. Spoon into crust.
3. Top with remaining whipped topping and candy. Drizzle with chocolate. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve!

Well, this week is my favorite so far!!!!!
I am down to 187.0! Down 1.6 lbs for the week and down 10 lbs for the challenge!!! It has taken awhile, but slowly is better than not losing so far!!!! One more lb. and I am down 20 for the year!! WOOHOO!!! Only about 40 or so to go!
I did finally get back to the gym a few days and have been trying to eat good, in the midst of all my Christmas baking! LOL I made it this far, I can make it through Christmas, I just know it!!! Franz has gone down 22 lbs. I am so proud of him (of course, in the time I lost only 10, but those guys just do it faster!) I think if we both gave 110% we’d maybe be at our goals by now, but that is ok too.
Next week I wanna be down at least 1 lb. and start my way out of the 180s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks everyone for all your support, you don’t know what it means to me!! ![]()
